Martin Filz Transitions to Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific
David Day Assumes Dual Leadership Roles
Warren, NJ (December 15, 2015) — Lightspeed today announces leadership changes to strengthen its business to meet the evolving needs of clients and the industry. As a part of this change, Martin Filz will transition to Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, effective January 1, 2016. In addition, David Day, President and Global Chief Executive Officer, will expand his responsibilities to now include Interim Chief Executive Officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
“Martin’s strong leadership and industry expertise have played an important role in the growth and development of our EMEA operations,” stated Day. “In his new role, he will lead our Asia Pacific teams to develop deep client relationships through the delivery of our core offerings. This transition is an important step in building our global portfolio and providing dynamic leadership in a multichannel environment.”
Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer, EMEA, Filz has more than 20 years of experience in senior executive roles, building businesses in multicultural and multilingual international environments. He has been involved with online research for the last 10 years across both APAC and EMEA prior to joining Lightspeed four years ago.

Lightspeed has an active search process under way to select Filz’s replacement in EMEA. In the short-term, Day will serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer, EMEA.
